Mr Venkat Rao, is a leading Data Scientist, analyst and versatile professional with over 22 years of field experience. He gained a Master’s degree in Operations Research from the Indian Statistical Institution, Calcutta and an MBA from IIM (Calcutta). He had the expertise and rich practical experience in several software applications and programming languages, including R SAS, Python, Rattle, SPSS, and many tools and techniques of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
He has worked with several organisations across various industries and sectors, extending his technical support with thoughtfully crafted analytics and prediction to improve business performance and obviate existing barriers. His clients include SBI, Benz, Epsilon, IBM, Visa, AON, EY, Dr.Reddy’s, and Capgemini, among others.
He has been a sought-after corporate trainer and works with a range of audiences, from CEOs to entry-level professionals. He is a visiting faculty of CDAC and regularly trains students, professionals and executives of various national and international business organisations such as IBM, SBI, Benz, Deloitte, L&T, Dell, Cognizant, Mestek, MetLife, ANZ, Shriram, Capgemini, EY and many others.

Dr. Selvan is a highly proficient data scientist and a highly interdisciplinary management professional with a multitude of academic attainments and professional accomplishments at the highest level.
With a mechanical engineering background, he gained MBA and a doctorate in Lean Six Sigma and Data Analytics with several professional certifications from top institutions, including ITIL, PMP, COBIT framework, CMMI High Maturity, CISA & CISM Cyber security, Lead Auditor, Risk Management, Cloud Service Management among others.
Dr. Selvan had a blend of academics and cutting-edge level practical experience of over 25 years in varied fields of IT and management locally and globally.
Besides his expertise in Data Science and Analytics, he developed proficiency in Shared Services Strategy, Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) of IT hardware, Project and Lifecycle (SDLC) Management, Auditing, and Risk Management.
He served as a senior management cadre in many reputed business organizations, such as Renault-Nissan, Merri Lynch, and Bank of America. Also, he acted as an adviser and consultant to many unicorns and start-ups.
He was instrumental in setting up India’s first GTS data science laboratory at IBM. Also, he set up a Data Science Shared service center, a Centre of Excellence, and an Analytics Hub for Client Excellence at IBM.
He carried out his research across a broad range of subjects within data science and management, and he has authored several scholarly articles.

He had over 30 years of field-level programming experience encompassing policy formulation and advocacy across the sectors of Education and Training, Industrial Promotion, Natural Resources Management, Sustainable Agriculture, Poverty Reduction programs and Health, Water, Sanitation & hygiene.
He is highly proficient in diverse management and analytical methods and tools such as Strategic Management, Critical Systems Thinking, SLA, Log Frame, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Dr Satyanarayana earned his Doctorate in Business Administration from the Swiss Business School, Geneva. His research focused on understanding how various attributes, including human capital, productivity and supply chain factors influence small and medium enterprises. He deployed advanced management techniques wielding AI and ML tools.
He published many research and scholarly articles in reputed journals, newspapers and magazines.
